04.12.2022 Many notices due to non-working voucher codes:

We are currently receiving many inquiries regarding voucher codes. We try everything to optimize the user experience at this point. Unfortunately, we are dependent on Apple and IOS. 

Instructions for voucher codes:

  1. Please note: You can only use a ChargingTime voucher once.
  2. Please also note: If you are already in a trial week or were once in a trial week, you can no longer enter a voucher code. The app then shows “You are not entitled to this offer”. In this case, please send us an e-mail to info@chargingtime.de.
  3. Make sure that you have stored a valid payment method in the Apple AppStore. Although a voucher code activates free access for a certain period of time, Apple requires a valid means of payment to complete this process. 
  4. Click on the white stars at the top left of the main menu.
  5. The page “You want to become a Pro?” opens. Scroll down until you see “Enter voucher code”.
  6. Click on “Enter voucher code”. Depending on your internet connection, it may take a moment. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this.
  7. The “Redeem code for ChargingTime” page opens

  8. Enter your code and click on “Redeem”. Depending on your internet connection, it may take a moment.
  9. The conditions of the voucher are displayed.
  10. Click on the blue “Redeem offer” button.
    1. If nothing happens even after a long wait, please contact Apple at: https://support.apple.com/de-de/apps. We have observed that the process works after several attempts, please try again after a few minutes.
  11. A small menu will now open at the bottom of the screen, where the conditions of the voucher code are explained once again. Now you can complete the process with a password, FaceID or TouchID.
  12. When the process is complete, you will see this screen:

  13. If your payment method is rejected in the background, please make sure that the payment method is actually active and working. Please check the AppStore directly.
  14. Click on Open ChargingTime or drag the window downwards. Depending on whether your payment method needs more time in the background or requires 2-factor authentication, the activation of the additional function may not yet be complete. Complete any transactions for your payment method and return to ChargingTime. Now the button of the activated subscription turns green and the text changes to “Manage subscriptions”.

Your Pro functions are now activated.
