You can find fast charging stations directly on the <strong>large display<\/strong> of your electric car <strong>while driving<\/strong> and send them for navigation. <strong>ChargingTime<\/strong> <strong>accompanies<\/strong> you during your journey. <\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-schritt-1-verbindung-zwischen-smartphone-und-elektroauto\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Connection between smartphone and electric car<\/h3>\n\n<p>Connect your cell phone to your electric car. Either via a <strong>USB cable<\/strong> or <strong>Bluetooth<\/strong>. Depending on the vehicle, a connection may only be possible with a cable. Check the website or operating instructions for your electric car.   <\/p>\n\n<p>We recommend charging the smartphone <strong>during use<\/strong>, as it is active the whole time and otherwise you will arrive at your destination with an <strong>empty battery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Please note that <strong>heat<\/strong> may be <strong>generated<\/strong> during <strong>wireless (inductive)<\/strong> charging. This sometimes causes the smartphone to reduce its <strong>processing power<\/strong> in order to regulate the temperature. Therefore, consider using a <strong>USB cable<\/strong>. This effect is less pronounced here.   <\/p>\n\n<p>You can find detailed <strong>help<\/strong> on how to connect your <strong>iPhone<\/strong> to your electric car on <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/de-de\/guide\/iphone\/iph6860e6b53\/ios\">Apple&#8217;s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-schritt-2-chargingtime-starten\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Start ChargingTime<\/h3>\n\n<p>Find ChargingTime on your home screen. You may find the app on the second or another page further down. <\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-schritt-3-ziel-eingeben\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Enter destination<\/h3>\n\n<p>Allow access to the microphone and <strong>voice recognition<\/strong> to speak your destination. If you do not want this, you can also select from your <strong>last destinations<\/strong>. A <strong>keyboard<\/strong> is not available <strong>for security reasons<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-schritt-4-ubersicht-verschaffen\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Get an overview<\/h3>\n\n<p>As soon as you have entered your destination and the route has been calculated, you will see all fast charging stations directly on your route. Your <strong>filter settings<\/strong> from the smartphone app are <strong>taken into account<\/strong> here. Each entry in the list corresponds to a charging park, where there may be <strong>several charging stations<\/strong> from <strong>different operators<\/strong>. You can see the operators in the second line of each charging park.  <\/p>\n\n<p>You can see the current <strong>distance to each charging park<\/strong> from your position along the route. These distances are updated live during the journey. <\/p>\n\n<p>You can also see the <strong>occupancy status<\/strong> of the charging station. Each <strong>bar<\/strong> <strong>corresponds to<\/strong> a <strong>charging point<\/strong>, i.e. a charging plug. The status is updated regularly.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Red<\/strong> means occupied, <strong>green<\/strong> means available. You should avoid <strong>gray<\/strong> charging stations as they are currently <strong>out of service<\/strong>. <strong>Yellow<\/strong> charging points have an <strong>unknown status<\/strong>, which means that ChargingTime has no information on the occupancy status at this time. You should also avoid these charging stations. <\/p>\n\n<p>You will also see <strong>emojis for fast food, restaurants, caf\u00e9s and shops<\/strong>. Also for playgrounds for children. You can also see the <strong>difference in altitude<\/strong>, which is particularly important when driving in <strong>the mountains<\/strong>. The <strong>star rating<\/strong> shows you which charging parks ChargingTime users consider to be particularly good.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-schritt-5-ladepark-einplanen\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5: Plan the loading park<\/h3>\n\n<p>You now have the option of scheduling <strong>one<\/strong> or <strong>more charging parks<\/strong>. On the map you can get an overview of where everything is located at this charging park. From here, you can <strong>send<\/strong> all stops and the final destination <strong>to the navigation system<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Alternatively,<\/strong> you can also just send the <strong>final destination to the navigation system<\/strong> and <strong>spontaneously<\/strong> <strong>add<\/strong> a charging park to the <strong>current navigation<\/strong> while driving.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Video tutorial Use the ChargingTime app with Apple CarPlay directly in your electric car.
